To be honest nobody wants to go and watch a film full of ugly people, so now companies battle to cast some of the hottest and biggest named stars their budgets can buy. Having someone like Zac Efron in your movie will draw a lot of female attention because of his handsome face and buff features. Also to have men in thriller dramas specifically, audiences will be looking out for certain key aspects because it would be really odd to have a weak hero in an action movie, here are some of those examples:

• Has to be fit 
• Sexually attractiveness
• authoritative
• power
• a bad boy

Having somebody that can entice the audience and make them take their side whether they are the hero or the villain means the actor has succeeded in his job as he has managed to throw himself into a character and bring it to life through the art of film.
